Our sweet baby girl was born with a rare skin disease called Epidermolysis Bullosa. On the day she was born our lives changed forever. Through her life God has shown us his power, comfort and healing hand. We are blessed to be Ella's parents and can't wait to see what God has in store for her life.

8 months old
Ella Bella is 8 months old today! We can hardly believe how big she is getting and how much she is growing and learning every day. And to think that we thought this day wouldn't come. God is so good!

Dear Katie and Joe, I just wanted to tell you what a blessing your blog is to me. I check it all the time for updates. I love the pictures of Ella. I marvel at God's goodness and your faith. Ella is so precious. I can see she is going to have Katie's bubbly personality. I wonder if she'll have your voice too? Anyway, I will continue to pray for your little blessing and look forward to hearing about her growth and development. Have a great day! Laurie Ploude NCBC
Ella...Yesterday was one of the best days in my life! Having you sit on my lap and snuggle as we read books and talked while your twin cousins, Sam and Nathan, looked on, made this a day for my memory book. What a big girl you are!! (Don't shake your head when I say that.) I look forward to many more tender times with my sweet Ella.
