She is so beautiful, as I knew she would be. God is so good to us to allow us the opportunity to experience the love He has for us by being parents. Joella is a testimony of the love you two have for eachother. Just know that we are praying for you here, and on the other side of the world.
Love you,

Callie is praying that Baby Ella's itchies will get better. She saw the video of her and wanted to watch it over, and over again. She prays for her at night and so do we. We are also praying for you and Joe as you go through this difficult time. God still works miracles, and we believe he can heal her. I pray that God will send an angel to watch over her day and night...

Murray Family,

Congratulations on your little Ella! She's so cute and tiny (and the name you chose is the cutest as well). How happy she must have been to be in her mama's arms!! Basically, we're thinking of the family constantly; therefore, our prayers are ongoing. God is the Great Physician and He is no doubt with the doctors, nurses, Ella and you two as well. "God will fight for you (Joshua 23:10)."

All our love- Melanie and Dave

We know you all have enough faith, love and prayer that Joella most certainly can sense and this must give her peace. She is beautiful and certainly a gift. Feel secure in your love for each other and for Joella.

What joy that must have been!

From my devotion today, from "Our Daily Bread." I thought I'd pass a little of it along:

"Do you feel as if your life's circumstances are a mighty storm? Look to the God-man Jesus Christ, who has authority over heaven and earth. He will give you the strength to survive the storm until he ultimately calms it. Our loving God is always near, Forever by our side; He'll bring us comfort in our fear and peace that will abide."

The highlighed verse:
"They feared exceedingly, and said to one another, 'Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!'" - Mark 4:41 We know who it is -- Jesus! Keep your faith in Him!

Love,
Darla

Katie & Joe,

You are in my family's thoughts every day. We all agreed that there is no one stronger than you to handle this. We love you and congratulations on your little bundle of joy. You're going to do great at this, little Joella is so lucky.

Katie and Joe,

Please know that I am so happy that you have been able to hold your beautiful Ella. I know that was a very special moment for all of you. Know that Andrew and I are always here for you to answer your questions or try to calm your concerns. We were in your shoes a year ago when Ellie was born with EB and these children are definitely special. Please feel free to ask away to us as often as you need to and don't ever feel that you can't come to us for anything. I am looking forward to watching her progress and Andrew and I will definitely keep her in our thoughts daily.

Hurray!!! I'm so happy to hear you got to hold sweet Joella (what a precious name, by the way). We are praying fervently and continually here in Florida, as are many others at First Baptist Jacksonville. Your faith is a witness to the world of how God sustains us through trials. May He continue to provide you strength and grace, and of course, healing for little Ella.

Love in Christ,
Mary, Reid and William Robertson

I love the pictures of Katie holding Ella. Callie is praying that Ella's itchies will get better. She watched the video 3 times and constantly talks about "Baby Ella." She told me Ella wants to be home with her mom and dad. I told Callie that there is nothing her mom and dad want more!!! I pray that God will send an angel to watch Ella day and night and that her disease will be the mildest form of EB..or better yet, something very mild and curable!! God still works miracles!!
God Bless,
Amy, Chad & Callie Underwood
