When I've done a "low" carb diet my skin gets better too - I was just wondering if you've noticed a difference.

Janel
RDEB - 36Janelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12741507889298351296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9201267026045678449.post-11710256775348871212011-02-16T08:13:24.025-05:002011-02-16T08:13:24.025-05:00Hey Katie!

Trader Joe's has great waffles that are gluten free, and Giant caries a whole slew of products that are wheat free...even Mac and Cheese!!! Giant also has cookies and snack crackers that are wheat free.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9201267026045678449.post-29712189199823108682011-02-09T12:29:21.565-05:002011-02-09T12:29:21.565-05:00Katie,

I love the name Ella, it's my mothers middle name and my great-grandmothers name! I am really sorry to hear about her diagnosis. Especially for children at that age it's hard if they can't eat all the same yummi things that her friends are eating. But there really is so much alternative gluten free food, so I guess it's just a questions of getting used to it. All the best to you! :0)Heidihttp://www.ecobold.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9201267026045678449.post-66202045044926346712011-02-06T19:35:11.935-05:002011-02-06T19:35:11.935-05:00My daughter was supposed to wear the eye patch too...My daughter was supposed to wear the eye patch too at about two years old. We fought it and fought it and never could keep it on long enough. Our pediatric opthamologist finally decided to use dilating drops daily in her good eye to make the weak eye work harder and take the place of the patch. We did this for six or seven weeks. Claire rarely complained about the drops, and it worked wonders! I don't know if this is possible for Ella, but you might ask. I have followed your blog for awhile and think your Ella is amazing!Steph C.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9201267026045678449.post-22951965896677763082011-02-06T08:45:31.426-05:002011-02-06T08:45:31.426-05:00Hi Katie: You are right, Ella is an amazing littl...Hi Katie: You are right, Ella is an amazing little girl. So sorry about the anemia. You guys will figure what is best.
I laughed when you told the eye patch story. Meg (Leah's Mommy) had a lazy eye and we did all the eye patching and the zebra stripes on the glasses. Meg hated it but she did what she had to do. Kids are amazing, aren't they?
Give that precious Ella a big hug for me.
